Well the long wait is finally over and we are about to find out whether Gavin Christie and Nigel Greenhill can step up to the plate and deliver? There has certainly been much chat in the run up to the main event but now the talking is over and we await the arrival of the 2 athletes onto the Island. Their plane lands in Stornoway this afternoon and their charity challenge will begin on Thursday morning It will consist of a 1.5 mile swim, 40 mile bike ride and finally a 27 mile marathon.
